Carl Cuesta is a Family Nurse Practitioner with over 15 years of experience.  He graduated with his BSN in 2009 from the the University of Southern Philippines in Cebu City.  Carl attributes his empathy to the unique training style that all the nurses undergo- working in the impoverished community and educating them how to elevate their health with the latest evidenced based practices.  After completing his education there, Carl moved back to Houston, Texas to be with family.  Carl is passionate about learning and acquiring different skills and learned from the best working for different employers around the Texas Medical Center.  This passion led Carl to more education and earn his MSN-FNP in 2014 from Prairie View A & M University.  Carl also loves to know the person that he is caring for and the home health setting allows him to care and know the person in their home.  Home Care of Texas is Carl's favorite home health agency due to its dedication to excellence and integrity.  In his spare time, Carl likes to explore the town with his wife and 3 young children, write books that teach lessons for his kids in the future, and is an avid practitioner of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.
